Terms & Conditions

Gharsaaj is a Delhi-based custom furniture business founded by Alok Singh and Arjun Kumar. We specialise in the design and manufacture of made-to-order residential and commercial furniture, crafted entirely in accordance with each customer's individual specifications, spatial requirements, and aesthetic preferences.

All furniture products offered by Gharsaaj are tailored to customer requirements. Customisation encompasses, but is not limited to:

• Dimensions and precise measurements
• Material selection and grade
• Surface finishes and colour specifications
• Design, aesthetics, and form
• Functional and structural requirements

For selected projects, authorised Gharsaaj team members may conduct one or more site visits prior to order confirmation, for the purposes of spatial assessment, measurement recording, and design consultation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring timely and unobstructed access to the project location during scheduled visits. Final designs and manufacturing specifications may be based on measurements and information collected during such visits.

All quotations provided by Gharsaaj are based on the project information available at the time of estimation and are valid for the period specified therein. Prices are subject to revision in the following circumstances:

• Changes to project scope, design, or specifications by the Customer
• Revisions to material type, grade, or quantity
• Updates to measurements following a site visit
• Requests for additional work or features not included in the original quotation

Any revision to the quoted price will be communicated to the Customer in writing and must receive Customer approval before work proceeds. Gharsaaj shall not commence revised work without prior confirmation.

An order is deemed confirmed only upon satisfaction of all three of the following conditions:

• Written approval of the final design, drawings, or specifications by the Customer
• Formal acceptance of the quotation in its agreed form
• Receipt of the agreed advance payment as specified in the quotation

Gharsaaj reserves the right to decline or cancel any order where required for operational, technical, capacity, or legal reasons. In the event of a cancellation initiated by Gharsaaj prior to commencement of production, any advance payment received will be refunded to the Customer in full.

Estimated production and delivery timelines will be communicated to the Customer at the time of order confirmation. Timelines may vary depending on:

• Complexity of the project design and specifications
• Availability and lead time of selected materials
• Volume and sequencing of ongoing orders
• Weather conditions, logistical constraints, or other unforeseen circumstances

By placing an order with Gharsaaj, the Customer agrees to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and timely project information
• Review all quotations, drawings, and specifications thoroughly before providing approval
• Ensure appropriate access and cooperation during site visits and installation
• Make payments in accordance with the agreed payment schedule
• Promptly communicate any changes to project requirements

Any delay in project execution caused by incomplete information, delayed approvals, changes in scope, or restricted site access shall be the responsibility of the Customer. Gharsaaj shall not be liable for associated costs or timeline extensions arising from such circumstances.

All drawings, design concepts, technical specifications, photographs, content, and other creative materials developed by Gharsaaj in connection with a project remain the exclusive intellectual property of Gharsaaj, unless an alternative arrangement is agreed in writing prior to commencement.

Customers may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or use any such materials for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Gharsaaj. Customers are, however, permitted to retain copies of approved designs for their own personal reference.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gharsaaj shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services, even where Gharsaaj has been advised of the possibility of such loss.

The collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is incorporated herein by reference. We are committed to handling all customer data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection principles.

Gharsaaj reserves the right to update, revise, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on our website, accompanied by a revised effective date.

Continued use of our services following the publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. Customers are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of Gharsaaj's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Delhi, India.
